Darwin Rhodes was established in 1996 to serve the insurance and financial services
markets. Without exception our competitors of comparable size are subdivisions
of generic recruitment firms active simultaneously within wide ranging markets
such as secretarial, commercial and IT. We recruit investment and insurance
professionals including actuaries, benefit consultants, specialist general
insurance staff, investment and compliance specialists and financial advisers.
Today we have the largest team of consultants worldwide serving these
specialised markets.

working in teams with responsibility for specific markets - Actuarial,

Operation:
The New York and Chicago office works with Associate level
actuaries and qualified actuaries up to senior management, Chief Financial
Officer and Chief Executive Officer level, life, Property & Casualty,
pensions and Health. We also cover technical staff, underwriters and marketing
and distribution staff. The range of positions covered includes contract and
permanent roles in North / South America and Bermuda as well as support for our
overseas operations.

Steve Young - Vice
President of Darwin Rhodes USA Inc.
Steve is responsible for developing and managing Darwin
Rhodes US business. Steve has also worked with DW Simpson as the Regional
Director of Asia. Steve helped establish clients & manage the Asian
business, managing senior actuarial clients covering 11 countries and coordinating
senior international placements. He also established the Melbourne office for
DW Simpson, working the Australian market prior to taking on the Asian based
role. Steve also headed up a UK actuarial recruitment team for a global FS
recruitment consultancy working the UK market based in London. Prior to his
recruitment experience, Steve worked for a management consultancy, working
across Asia and the Middle East. Steve has family is the US; However, Steve is
originally from Scotland.
Laura Santoro -
Manager of Darwin Rhodes USA Inc, Chicago
Laura is responsible for establishing and managing Darwin
Rhodes' Chicago Office. She joins Darwin Rhodes with five years of US actuarial
recruitment experience in all disciplines including life, health, property,
casualty, retirement and financial services, during her previous role with DW
Simpson. Laura's experience also includes international candidate placement,
covering 12 countries. Laura is originally from the Chicago area.
Augustus Romain -
Manager, Accounting and Finance, USA
Augustus Romain is responsible for developing and managing
Darwin Rhodes US Accounting and Finance Practice. Augustus has also worked at Korn/Ferry International,
Futurestep Inc. Futurestep is a global leader in middle management recruitment and recruitment
process outsourcing (RPO). His engagement assignments were focused throughout North America.
Prior, Augustus was a senior executive search consultant with Spherion, Inc. in the Professional Services division.
Spherion is a $1.8 Billion dollar, publicly held, staffing services firm providing workforce solutions throughout North America.
Augustus joined Spherion¡¦s Accounting/Finance practice in April of 2003, providing both business development and recruitment
services. His search assignments were primarily focused in Texas, however, Romain was frequently called upon to assist with
national search assignments for senior executive positions.
