markets. Without exception our competitors of comparable size are subdivisions
of generic recruitment firms active simultaneously within wide ranging markets
such as secretarial, commercial and IT. We recruit investment and insurance
professionals including actuaries, benefit consultants, specialist general
insurance staff, investment and compliance specialists and financial advisers.
Today we have the largest team of consultants worldwide serving these
specialised markets.

Operation:
The New York and Chicago office works with Associate level
actuaries and qualified actuaries up to senior management, Chief Financial
Officer and Chief Executive Officer level, life, Property & Casualty,
pensions and Health. We also cover technical staff, underwriters and marketing
and distribution staff. The range of positions covered includes contract and
permanent roles in North / South America and Bermuda as well as support for our
overseas operations.

Manager, Accounting and Finance, USA
Augustus Romain is responsible for developing and managing
Darwin Rhodes US Accounting and Finance Practice. Augustus has also worked at Korn/Ferry International,
Futurestep Inc. Futurestep is a global leader in middle management recruitment and recruitment
process outsourcing (RPO). His engagement assignments were focused throughout North America.
Prior, Augustus was a senior executive search consultant with Spherion, Inc. in the Professional Services division.
Spherion is a $1.8 Billion dollar, publicly held, staffing services firm providing workforce solutions throughout North America.
Augustus joined Spherion¡¦s Accounting/Finance practice in April of 2003, providing both business development and recruitment
services. His search assignments were primarily focused in Texas, however, Romain was frequently called upon to assist with
national search assignments for senior executive positions.
Karen Shaw -
Senior Actuarial Consultant
Karen is
responsible for establishing and managing
U.S.
actuarial business and
recruitment. She has experience within the following disciplines- life,
pension and property and casualty. Karen's ambitious work ethics can be
seen thoroughly throughout her career dating back to her employment with
The New York Stock Exchange and MetLife. Her diverse recruitment methods
are largely known within the
U.S.
drawing specific attention
to her ability to service the placement of Asia Pacific candidates within
the States. Karen has a solid track record of attracting, selecting and
